Laura Derrick, Realtor® at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Columbia, is South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2018 president. Derrick was inaugurated in a ceremony at the association’s September annual meeting at the Greenville Hyatt Regency Hotel. Her term is begins this week.

REALTORS® release August market numbers
South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) today released its August housing market data. The numbers indicate that prevailing inventory and sales trends lasted throughout the summer.
REALTORS® release February market numbers
South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) today released its February housing market data indicating a continuing trend of price increases and inventory shortages. New listings were up almost seven percent to 9,815 while while pending sales decreased six percent to 6,149. Inventory shrank by six percent to 32,129 units. Prices throughout February were up by seven percent with a median sales price of $180,000.

South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2016 annual conference "Doing the Charleston" at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC on September 13-15, 2016 drew a sold -out crowd of 300 Realtors®. The conference was organized by the SCR Networking Committee, chaired by REALTOR® Bobette Fisher of Charleston.
