South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2015 joint annual conference and expo with the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NCAR) at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, September 12-15, 2015 drew more than 800 Realtors® across two states. In 1965, the 89th Congress and President Lyndon Johnson produced landmark laws that made education more attainable, health care more affordable, voting more accessible, housing more available, immigration more equitable, and the environment cleaner. The results were dramatic. The poverty rate went down, and graduation rates went up. Citizen participation increased and our environment got cleaner. Our nation was reinvigorated by new immigrants, and the golden years of our senior citizens were enriched.
