COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 17, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) today released its March Statewide Market Reports.
New Listings in South Carolina decreased 11.3 percent to 9,413. Pending Sales were up 8.6 percent to 5,254. Inventory levels shrank 15.9 percent to 49,249 units. Prices were fairly stable. The Median Sales Price decreased 0.1 percent to $144,825 and Days on Market was down 4.4 percent to 139 days. Absorption rates improved as Months Supply of Inventory was down 19.6 percent to 11.8 months.
