COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 20, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) will kick off a tour of the state to promote property rights, homeownership, and its member benefits to the trade association’s more than 15,000 members.
SCR staff and leadership will begin the tour on February 24th with a first stop at the Aiken Board of REALTORS® and will travel to all other 15 local Realtor® associations in the state over the next few months. CEO Nick Kremydas said, “We’re excited to reach out to all our members over the coming months to tell them in person about the exciting new changes in our industry and to share the very latest in member services and products.”
“Members of SCR have access to a wide array of benefits, business tools, real estate market data, educational opportunities and discount programs designed to help them succeed in today’s market. We want to make sure all of our members are aware of these great resources,” said SCR President Fritzi Barbour.
The SCR legal and government affairs staff works to develop, advance, and implement the local, state and federal legislative objectives of the REALTOR® Association.
By working with all levels of government, Realtors® enhance quality of life in South Carolina through lobbying, policy development, political field representatives, political communications, grassroots advocacy and the Realtor® political action committee.
“Members will meet and get the latest updates from their staff who advocate for homeownership and defend private property rights,” said Kremydas.
