COLUMBIA, S.C. – September 26, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) last week hosted Sale Away, its 2014 annual conference and expo in Myrtle Beach. The conference was a big success with more than 500 Realtors® registered.
The conference offered attendees multiple education sessions on everything from iPads and social media to legal training and a legislative panel featuring Senator Tom Davis and Representative Alan Clemmons.
Events included Hear it Direct – a consumer panel of recent buyers and sellers, the 2014 LeadershipSCR class graduation and an awards session.

W. Mack Chamblee Quality of Life Award recipient Senator Tom Davis

and Omega Tau Rho Fraternity inductee, Sandy Stone of Charleston
The conference concluded with SCR’s annual board of directors meeting where the election of officers took place. Leading the association as President in 2015 is Greenville REALTOR® Fritzi Barbour. The other members of the SCR Leadership Team are President-Elect David Kent (Charleston), Treasurer David Phillips (Anderson), Secretary Laura Derrick (Columbia) and Past President Randy Harrison (Surfside Beach).
SCR’s 2015 Annual Conference & Expo, REconnect, will be next September in Hilton Head, co-hosted with the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®.
